IEE study of road projects under Road Improvement Project (RIP-II)
Introduction
Narrative description of the Project: construction and operation of various roads, which are Balaju-Trishuli Road, Chhahare-Bidure Road, Bhaktapur-Nagarkot-Sipaghat Road, Balkhu-Daksinkali Road, Bharatpur-Meghauli Road, Bardaghat-Trivenidham Road, Janakpur Parikrama Road, Lumbini Buddha Circuit Road, Ghorahi-Ghartigaun Road (Shahid Marga) Barjughat-Martadi Road
Description of Actual Service Provided: Preparation of Terms of Reference and Report on Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) study, which includes: (a) Baseline data collection of biophysical, socio-economic as well as cultural environment, (b) public consultation, (c) Preparation of draft and final IEE report of entire projects, presentation of the report in the Ministry, (d) incorporation of comments and approval of the report from the concerned government line agencies (Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport)
