IEE study of Lhasa Hotel International Pvt. Ltd., Lazimpat
Introduction
Narrative description of the Project: The proposed Hotel Lhasa International is located in Kathmandu Metropolitan- 2, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. Proposed site is accessible from Jamal-Budhanilkantha Main Road and another 200 meter internal road within Lazimpat. This hotel will be constructed in 2311.63 square m. area land under its ownership. Total built area of the hotel will be 8627.81 square m. and total bed no. will be 98. Apart from this, there will be kitchen, dining room, bathroom, seminar hall and other facilities to meet the tourism service. Water required for drinking, laundry, cleaning and other purposes will be supplied by Kathmandu Uptyaka Kahnepani Limited. About 80 No of people will get direct employment opportunities during operation of hotel.
Description of Actual Service Provided: Preparation of ToR and Report on Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) study, which includes: (a) Baseline data collection of biophysical, socio-economic as well as cultural environment, (b) public consultation, (c) Preparation of draft and final IEE report of entire projects, presentation of the report in the Ministry, (d) incorporation of comments and approval of the report from the concerned government line agencies (Ministry of Tourism)
